SampleRobot 7 Grace Period
We are very glad to inform you about the upcoming SampleRobot 7 upgrade which is planned to be released in the first quarter of 2025. The grace period for upgrading to SampleRobot 7 has started 2024/11/01. That means if you are interested in purchasing SampleRobot now you will receive a free upgrade to version 7.
After 25 Years Again In Production
The Ambient & Atmospheres sound set for the Waldorf Microwave XT synthesizer series was programmed by Christian Halten in 1999/2000 and officially released in 2001 by the former Waldorf Electronics company. For the 25th anniversary we decided to offer these iconic sounds as newly produced sample sets.
Ensoniq Fizmo Sample Package
As promised in our last blog post we sampled 10 patches, around 1.2 gigabytes audio material, from our little purple studio fellow. We captured most of the Fizmo sounds with more than one velocity layer to allow dynamic playing when you import the samples in your software or hardware sampler.
Most Wanted Synth - Guess who?
Before the summer break we asked you to vote for your favorite synthesizer out of five instruments, each of them having a special edge. From the retro-futuristic dual Akai AX80 to the WOPR-like FM flagship synthesizer Yamaha TX816 choosing a favorite for sure was not easy. It was nip and tuck till the very end of the race.

A newly created FAQ section on our SampleRobot Support website might help you getting answers to your questions fast. You can find a lot of operation tips and inside information there as well. This section has become quite an extensive resource and it will be expanded in the future. It has been carefully edited from internal support documents that we assembled over the years.
New Synthesizer Mothership Landed
We hope you had a good start in 2024. In the first week of January we received a huge and heavy package from a well-known company. Inside of it there was their new flagship synthesizer, an impressive 88 note hammer action instrument with lots of controls and synthesis and sample capabilities.

Synclavier Regen Multisample Support
The new Synclavier Regen is a very interesting electronic instrument that also offers multisample playback and modulation. Over the last months we have been in contact with one of its developers, Cameron Warner Jones, to make SampleRobot work seamlessly with the new Synclavier.
